My Kyle

I went to see my Kyle this last weekend. She looked great and had lots of smiles for us. She has sent in her letter for her sentence reduction and should hear something in a couple of months. If they approve, then she will be transferred to the program in Cheyenne where she can work a real job and have a car and talk on the phone. She is hope full that the committee will give her a chance. I didn't get to learn any new prison recipes this time...maybe she should just come out with a cookbook! She sends her love to my family. I am so proud of her! She continues to surprise me with all that she has accomplished. She even laughs at herself now, instead of giving deathly looks to anyone she comes across. We sat for hours laughing and talking about when she was a young little Kyle. She was a mean little thing back then! It was good to hear her laugh and see her smile...it gets better every time I visit. I can't wait to see her next month!

June 19th!!!

I have loved them since I was in the 5th grade. That means I have loved Bon Jovi for over 20 years! Their new album "Lost Highway" comes out June 19th and ask me if I am excited...go on...ask me. Yep! Very! Their new single "(Do You Want to) Make a Memory" is out and I think I have made my family CRAZY listening to it over and over and over. Kaylee knows a lot of the words, and Lizzy hums the tune. Jason, on the other hand, is starting to hate Bon Jovi (more than he did before). That's just one of the sacrafices he has to make for love! Oh, did I tell you that I LOVE this band?

Our Phoenix Vacation

As you can see there were lots of smiles to go around during our vacation with Uncle Bryan! We had a blast and can't wait to do it again! The girls loved hanging out with their cousins at the zoo. And Uncle Bryan and Anzhela spoiled the girls rotten. Anzhela is the one who surprised them with the princess bubbles. She knows just the right things to get little girls. We didn't get a picture of him, but Ilya, Anzhela's son, played and played with the girls one night and Kaylee "just loves him" in her words. Thank you to all who made our trip memorable. We love you all!
