Utah snow

I learned a very valuable lesson yesterday. That snow doesn't always fall sideways! I witnessed this myself. And it doesn't have to hurt when it snows on you. So many years I lived in Rock Springs that I have forgotten that winter doesn't have to be a bad thing! I am also reminded of my Reo Rux this time of year. He loved the snow. He was always like a little kid when it started to snow. I miss him.

it was -16 this morning on my way to school. it hurt to take a breath in, it hurt to have any skin exposed, the snow was crunchy, the air froze my hair...no wind, snow had fallen in the night...it was absolutely gorgeous, reminded me of when i was little and in pinedale, same sort of winters. all those days seem to be gone, with a taste of rememberence once in a while. i miss reo too. i just know he is at peace now.

I remember when reo used to take us sleding on old car hoods in the big horns! we would all pile up on it slide down the biggest hill we could find! it was not fun trying to get it back up the hill!

We miss Reo Rux too, especially when it snows! The memories are what makes us who we are today and the choices we make. It's okay to have memories as long as that is where they stay; in the past. One can't change history, just learn from it and go forward.

we have an exchange student from the Czech Republic and one from Germany and they are both so glad it is WINTER time!

memories, by definition, are in the present, aren't they?

The "present" is a gift; cherish it like there is no tomorrow!

hmmm!! mom are you talking about your dead leg?? hahaha!! I will carry it for you if you need me to! so that way you will not be dragging it. lol!!
Memories help us get through those ruff times. They are what "drag" us through sometimes.
